I use population genomics to understanding how selection and dispersal impact the ecology and evolution of species. I am particularly interested in the topics of how organisms cope with stress, and how genotypic diversity interacts with local conditions (both biotic and abiotic) across geographic ranges to drive location specific adaptation. I will be working on landscape genomics of tropical and temperate stream insects and tropical frogs to understand patterns of gene flow in stream communities and help identify hidden barriers to dispersal.

We occasionally have openings for post-docs in the lab, and I am always happy to discuss the possibility of writing grants or seeking funding for projects you might be interested in pursuing.
