I am interested in the interactions between hydrologic and biogeochemical systems, especially nutrient cycles. The effects of anthropogenic perturbations to nutrient cycles can be traced through a watershed via hydrological pathways. I use natural abundance stable isotopes to investigate nitrogen sources, transport and cycling through interactions between precipitation, surface water, groundwater and soil, as nitrogen cycles and moves through a catchment.
