Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Graduate Student Association

The Ecology & Evolutionary Biology Graduate Student Association (GSA) at Cornell University is comprised of all Ph.D. students in the Field of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.  We sponsor social and academic functions for graduate students, including an annual symposium of student and faculty research talks, and sponsoring a student-invited seminar speaker.

We are also responsible for organizing a number of department functions, such as weekly graduate student lunch meetings with visiting scientists, afternoon tea & cookies, the departmental Holiday Party, and the Recruitment Weekend that hosts prospective students.

We provide a resource for current graduate students by maintaining databases of student publications, funding grants, and alumni. Finally, we serve to strengthen the social and academic environment and networking among our members.
